I liked them...a little sweet, but they were a tasty treat at the top of the hill. I tried the Fruit Smoothie version and am going to grab the naturally caffeinated limeade flavour for that extra kick next time.
As I said I did find them to be a bit sweet (and I love sweets) but the consistency was good and I did not have any energy problems on the way down...so they seemed to do their job. They cost me just over two bucks plus taxes, a bit more than a bar...but I would rather eat these than choke down a dry bar. The good news is that they are Gluten and Dairy free...gotta love that..
.now if we can get it nut free as well all my friends will be able to eat them. [Edit, they ARE nut free, packaged in a nut free factory...Awesome!] .

I have OD on these puppies. They are really good but $2+ a pack is a little steep. Good thing I got mine for free:-)
ReplyDelete160 calories/pack is certainly better than a lot of protein bars & energy snacks as well. Might just have to try these ... for all that 'activity' that I do. HA
