Kali Amara Cam Helmet - Preview

While I was at Jump Ship I stopped by the Kali Protectives booth and loved the look of the helmets and gear. After a few weeks they sent me an Amara Cam helmet to review. It was a happy day when this helmet arrived as my trusty old Giro Xen was a little worse for wear and smelled like a wet dog threw up in it... suffice to say none of my riding buddies were sad to see it go.

Stella needs to be safe too!

The Amara (Sanskrit for immortal) is Kali's AM helmet offering, it has 17 vents to keep your noggin cool even in the hottest weather. The retention system fit my head well and keeps the helmet from moving around in even the biggest of chunder,  The liner also has mesh to cover the vents, if you have ever got a bee in your helmet you know how awesome this feature is. But the real innovation with this helmet is the built in camera/light mount. I will be testing the mounts in the full review and give you a run down of what I could strap to my head at that time.

In the few rides I have had so far I have found the helmet to be comfortable, light and I think it looks great. I will write a full review in a few months, till then enjoy these photos.
